Course: APNT Sports Injury and Massage Diploma
Details: "The entry requirement for this course is successful completion of a recognised massage qualification.
The skills and knowledge acquired during this course will be useful in treating everyday clients with common musculo-skeletal problems and not just those with sporting injuries.
This intensive and wide-ranging course will also furnish the proficient massage therapist with the specific techniques necessary for aiding and supporting all athletes in both pre and post-event situations and during training. In addition the therapist will be able to advise and assist in the attainment and maintenance of optimum health for all sports people.
APNT (The Association of Physical and Natural Therapists) is a member of the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA) and was formed in 1986 to examine and represent therapists who have undergone thorough training to professional standards. It plays an active role in setting and maintaining high standards in both the training and practice of Bodywork Practitioners. On completion of the Diploma graduates can benefit from insurance cover, professional representation, a register of graduates and a newsletter.
