Course: Energy Work with Hot and Cold Stones - 1 Day Workshop
Details: People have been drawn to the energies of stones since the dawn of time. We have carried enormous stones great distances, to honour kings and gods. We have created monuments of stones, and carved our own faces and those of our gods on stones. Some well known examples are the Egyptian Sphinx and the Pyramids, the Inca temples and also Stonehenge. Lava stones and basalt stones were used for building altars for religious or magical practices. Native American Indians and spiritual healers all over the world use stones and crystals in their healing ceremonies. In fact a variety of different cultures have used stones for healing purposes for centuries.
Hot and Cold stone therapy has become a very popular treatment. Most people find this therapy very relaxing and effective. By learning to safely work with and use the energy of the Basalt and Marble stones you can make your clients treatments even more powerful and effective. This workshop is ideal for existing Thermal Stone Therapists that have an interest in energy work. It is also beneficial for stone therapists that already practice energy work, as it can teach you how to integrate your energy work into your Stone Therapy treatments. This workshop will cover all the necessary theoretical and practical techniques to safely incorporate energy work into Stone Therapy Treatments.
This workshop will cover the following:
*History of stones
*The importance of energy work & stone therapy
*The importance of recharging and energising your stones
*How to recharge and energise your stones
*Proper placement of stones & honouring the client’s breathing
*How to place & remove chakra stones
*How to awaken the chakras & clear the auric field
*Aligning the chakras with each other
*Closing the chakras
We have invested in the the very latest equipment for students to use and incorporate into their treatments whilst attending our centre.
The basalt and marble stones we use are of the highest quality and have been specially sourced and supplied to us by La Stone Therapy UK. Our stone heater is of top quality and has a built in digitally operated thermostat which can be controlled to ensure that the temperature of the stones is regulated at a constant and safe temperature. We also have a matching aluminium cooling unit which helps keep the marble stones colder for more efficient deeper tissue work.
Prerequisites: You must be a qualified hot stone therapist with a good understanding of anatomy and physiology. You must have had some experience of working with energy such as Reiki, crystals or colour. If you are new to energy work you will be required to attend our 1 day introductory workshop, Introduction to Chakra Balancing or our Chakra Balancing for Therapists 1 day workshop before you will be allowed to attend this workshop.
