"When searching for an Indian Head Massage course to do, I looked into various providers and while there were some closer to my home, when I came across the Me-time-Therapies by Geraldine this stood against the others. The reason being that she offered a very thorough course and there was a friendliness to the website. Some other providers, allowed you to do the IHM course in one day, with no case studies and I don't think that is right.Geraldine's style of teaching and high standard of this course was exactly what I had hoped. She shared her years of therapy experience with us, and didn't overwhelm or rush any part of it. She ran a tight schedule, allowing time for open discussion which helped get to know fellow attendees. The course notes were clear and concise and she ensured at each of the stages that we understood before moving on. Her warm, friendly personality made her an ideal tutor and a real inspiration. Leaving the course to undertake our case studies, she confirmed any questions/queries around these just to contact her, again this shows her commitment to each of us on the course before our return for the exam. I would definitely recommend Geraldine to anyone considering a therapy course."
The course is suited to anyone, no previous massage experience is required.
Over 2 days, you will learn a new skill that will allow to either help friends and family or to earn extra income or help raise funds for a charity. There are low set up costs as you don't need to buy any specialised equipment, the treatment is carried out on a chair.
Geraldine will teach you the procedure: head, neck, back, shoulders, upper arms, return to head, face, ears and energy healing. A full treatment takes 50 minutes but can be shortened down to 15 -20 minutes when working at events such as music festivals.
The £150 includes the 2 day tutition, marking the case studies, doing the exam and providing a comprehensive booklet. There is access to unlimited tea, coffee, herbal tea and biscuits throughout the weekend. Geraldine also provides support via e:mail or telephone whilst doing your case studies and will answer any of your concerns.
Geraldine has been working full time as a therapist for 13 years and has been teaching Indian Head Massage since 2001. She is an approachable tutor and her passion for therapies shines through. She offers a quality course resulting in students feeling confident in doing the Indian head massage treatment on paying clients.
This course has been approved by the Complementary Medical Association. (CMA).
